Traditional taxi providers charge return fares even if you only need a ride one way. OneWay Chennai Express solves this by billing strictly for the kilometers driven to your drop location. You save up to 40% to 50% because you never pay for the empty return journey.
While we accept bookings up to 30 days in advance, our on-demand fleet in Chennai can provide a vehicle within 30 to 45 minutes of your booking request. We recommend booking at least 2 hours in advance for early morning and outstation departures.
Yes! We provide 100% doorstep pickup from any home, hotel, office, or airport terminal in Chennai (including T. Nagar, Velachery, Tambaram, Anna Nagar, OMR, Guindy, Airport MAA) and drop you directly at your specified destination address.
Fares, Tolls & Payments
The base estimated fare includes the vehicle rental, fuel, and driver allowance (bata). Highway FASTag toll plaza fees, interstate entry permits (e.g. crossing Tamil Nadu into Karnataka or Andhra Pradesh), and parking fees are paid at actuals during the journey.
You can pay directly upon reaching your destination. We accept UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM), Net Banking, and Cash. There is no mandatory advance payment for standard bookings.
For one-way trips, the standard minimum billable distance is 130 KM. If your journey is under 130 KM, the fare is calculated for 130 KM. For round trips, the minimum billing is 250 KM to 300 KM per calendar day.

Sedan (4 Seater): Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Toyota Etios, Honda Amaze
SUV (6 Seater): Mahindra Xylo, Maruti Ertiga
Premium MPV (7 Seater): Toyota Innova & Innova Crysta
Sedans accommodate up to 2-3 standard trolley bags in the trunk. For groups with 4 or more large suitcases, we strongly recommend booking an SUV or Toyota Innova, which can also be arranged with a certified rooftop luggage carrier upon request.
